Luxury villas in the north-west and the Serra de Tramuntana
Luxury villas in Deià, Valldemossa, Banyalbufar and Sóller, in the UNESCO-listed Serra de Tramuntana. Area guides, drive times and every villa.
Stone villages, olive terraces and small coves on the north-west coast, in the Serra de Tramuntana, whose cultural landscape is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
North-west & Tramuntana
The Serra de Tramuntana runs along Mallorca's north-western coast. UNESCO inscribed its cultural landscape as a World Heritage Site in 2011, for its terraces, water works and dry-stone building. Deià sits beneath Puig des Teix, with a path down to Cala Deià and the artists' heritage of the village. Valldemossa gathers around its Charterhouse, with olive terraces towards Son Moragues. Banyalbufar is a terraced village of stone lanes and small coves, and Sóller pairs citrus groves and Modernist town life with a sheltered harbour, linked by the historic train and tram.
This is the region for walkers, for food-loving couples and for guests who want mountain views and quiet villages rather than resorts.
