Central Mallorca
Alaró lies beneath the twin peaks of Puig d'Alaró and Puig d'Alcadena, with walks up to its castle. Santa Maria del Camí and Consell are wine villages with a Sunday market, rail access and, in Consell, a Sunday antiques market. Selva and its neighbouring villages look up to the Serra de Tramuntana, Llubí is known for capers and windmills, and Porreres for its vineyard routes and the hilltop sanctuary of Monti-Sion.
This is the region for food and wine lovers, cyclists and walkers, and for families and groups who want space and village life, with beaches on several coasts a drive away.
