How to combine a luxury villa stay with a superyacht charter in Mallorca. Itineraries, costs, logistics, and why the villa-yacht combination is the ultimate Balearic experience.

The Villa-Yacht Combination: Mallorca's Ultimate Luxury Experience

The most discerning guests who visit Mallorca increasingly combine a luxury villa stay with a superyacht charter — creating a holiday that offers the best of both worlds: the space, privacy, and home comforts of a villa with the freedom, adventure, and exclusivity of life at sea.

The combination works exceptionally well in the Balearics because the islands are close together (Mallorca to Ibiza is just 4-5 hours by yacht), the coastline is spectacular from the water, and many of the finest calas and beach clubs are best accessed by boat. A typical arrangement might be: 4 nights in your villa, 3 nights aboard a yacht exploring the coast and neighbouring islands, then return to the villa for the final days.

Through our sister company Bluebnc Yachting, we handle every aspect of the yacht charter — from vessel selection and crew briefing to itinerary planning and provisioning. The integration between your villa stay and yacht charter is seamless: we coordinate transfers, move luggage, and ensure both experiences feel like one continuous holiday rather than two separate bookings.

Charter Options & Costs

Day Charters (no overnight):

  • Motor-yacht and sailing-yacht options vary by vessel, season and itinerary
  • Captain, crew, fuel and water-toy arrangements vary by charter
  • Food, beverages and port fees may be quoted separately

Weekly Charters:

  • Yacht options range across different sizes and styles
  • Crew, insurance and onboard arrangements vary by vessel and charter terms
  • Fuel, food, beverages, port fees and water toys may be covered through a separate allowance or quoted as additional costs

Popular Combinations:

  • Villa stays can be paired with day charters or longer yacht itineraries
  • The right combination depends on your dates, group, vessel and preferred itinerary

All prices and availability are confirmed for the specific charter. Yacht-charter requests can be arranged via Bluebnc Yachting.

Suggested Itineraries

3-Day Mallorca Coastal Explorer:

Day 1: Depart Puerto Andratx → Sa Dragonera island (swimming, snorkelling) → anchor at Sant Elm for lunch → evening at Cala Deià (dinner aboard or at Ca's Patro March)

Day 2: Sóller port (morning coffee ashore) → Formentor peninsula (swimming in turquoise calas) → anchor at Pollensa bay (sunset cocktails)

Day 3: Cap de Formentor → hidden calas of the northeast coast → return to Puerto Andratx via the dramatic north coast

5-Day Mallorca to Ibiza:

Day 1: Puerto Andratx → explore Mallorca's southwest calas → overnight anchor at Cabrera National Park (permit required, we arrange)

Day 2: Cabrera (snorkelling in the Blue Cave, lunch aboard) → afternoon crossing to Formentera

Day 3: Formentera (Ses Illetes beach, lunch at Juan y Andrea) → evening crossing to Ibiza

Day 4: Ibiza (Cala Jondal/Blue Marlin for lunch, evening in Ibiza Town/Cipriani)

Day 5: Ibiza → Es Vedrà → return crossing to Mallorca (or extend)

7-Day Full Balearics:

Combines the above with additional time in Menorca (pristine calas, fewer crowds) and extended Ibiza exploration. This is the ultimate Balearic yacht experience.

Logistics & Seamless Integration

How We Coordinate Villa + Yacht:

1. Pre-arrival: We confirm both villa and yacht schedules, brief the yacht crew on your preferences (dietary, activities, pace), and coordinate provisioning.

2. Transfer day: Our driver collects you from the villa and delivers you to the yacht (typically Puerto Andratx or Palma port). Luggage is handled. The villa is prepared for your return (fresh flowers, restocked fridge, pool cleaned).

3. During charter: Your villa concierge remains available for shore-side arrangements (restaurant bookings for port stops, activity coordination). The yacht crew handles everything aboard.

4. Return: Driver meets you at the port and returns you to your villa, which is ready and waiting — beds made, welcome drinks prepared, and any requested services (chef, massage) pre-arranged for your first evening back.

What to Pack for the Yacht:

  • Soft bags only (no hard suitcases — storage is limited)
  • Non-marking shoes (white-soled deck shoes)
  • Swimwear, light layers, sun protection
  • Smart casual for port evenings
  • We provide: towels, toiletries, water toys, snorkelling equipment

Choosing the Right Yacht

For Families:

Motor yachts in a range of sizes can offer space, stability and time on the water. Consider the number of cabins, a swim platform, tender access and any water toys that suit your group. If travelling with children, you can request a crew and onboard setup appropriate to your plans.

For Couples:

A motor yacht or sailing yacht can offer different styles of experience. Sailing yachts may appeal to guests seeking a more adventurous pace, while motor yachts may offer different space and itinerary options. Features such as a flybridge or jacuzzi vary by vessel.

For Groups/Events:

Yachts of different sizes can suit overnight groups, day gatherings or special occasions. For larger groups, a flotilla or a larger vessel may be an option, subject to availability and the vessel's permitted capacity.

Our Recommendation Process:

Tell us your group size, ages, priorities, budget and preferred dates. We can request yacht options with specifications, crew information and availability. The final vessel, provider, scope, price and availability are confirmed for each booking.
